Edge banding line

The installation project for our new edge banding line has begun. Since this is a measuring-based and highly automated production line designed for high precision and capacity, its installation also requires a robust and extremely stable foundation.

Carefully executed foundations ensure the machine’s accuracy, reliability, and consistent production quality. The foundations used 6 tons of steel and 83 m³ of concrete. The casting work was carried out by our trusted partners MEGA-lattiat Oy and Mäki-Rekolan Betoni Oy – many thanks to them!

We are investing in a highly automated edge banding cell, which will increase our edge banding capacity to roughly four times the current level.

The new edge banding cell is measuring-based and performs from stack to stack. The edge can be applied using either PUR- or zero-joint technology. The cell operates on a batch size 1 -principle, meaning panels can be banded individually without requiring large batch sizes. This makes the line extremely flexible and well-suited, for example, for door and panel production.

Installation work on the edge banding line will begin in July 2026.
