"Linnanmäki" -skateboard

Being an entrepreneur is like riding a rollercoaster

  At the beginning of the 1950’s, Korvenranta provided the materials for the legendary rollercoaster of Linnanmäki amusement park. The wood was delivered as an extra-long delivery, sawed into measurements ready for assembly. The deliveries were on time each day, which was exceptional during that time. We wanted to pay homage to the Linnanmäki project by designing a product that reminds us of the rollercoaster, and which utilizes the latest production methods and materials. We asked snow- and skateboarder Roope Tonteri to design and test the skateboard. The final result was a signature cruiser board for Roope and for Korvenranta. Roope Tonteri has won three gold medals as a junior and a silver medal as a pro in the Finnish skateboarding championships. He is also a three-time world champion in snowboarding and has represented Finland twice in the winter Olympics. Roope is now aiming for a spot at the Tokyo summer Olympics. We wish him all the luck!
